Summary:
For my 10th grade I.B. personal project, I decided to do something with music, but along with that, I wanted to work with technology and computers. So I chose to combine the two and learn how to record and mix my own music tracks.
When it came time to pick a mentor, I immediately thought of my 2nd cousin, Daniel Hill, who is a record executive in Nashville. I knew his experience in the industry would really help me get started.
My final goal for this project was to create a collection of short tracks I had recorded and store them on Soundcloud.com (a music sharing site). At the end I plan on reflecting back on them to see how they have improved over the course of the year.
The majority of the project would probably fall under the Area of Interaction of Human Ingenuity as I am mostly creating my own materials and using available technology to do so.
